The Blue Birds Song

A Blue bird's song,

Is oh so long,

And yet beautiful,

And oh so suitable,

For what is to come,

Will make it mutable,

It pierces your ears,

With cries of distress,

The mere sound of it,

Will make you a mess,

For it's broken heart,

Leaves it depressed,

It sings in tune,

With the other birds,

Hoping to fly away,

Just looking for a better day,

Everyday it leaves the nest,

Just to spend the rest,

Of the day,

Out of harm's way,

singing the painful song,

all day long,
